Delicious burgers and super friendly staff

Lower prices, good portions. I recently ordered a prime rib for $21.99. it was huge. Much larger than what you would get in a steakhouse.

Great turkey burgers.

It's a nice place. Good food. Nice staff. I don't go often but I'm never disappointed. It does get crowded during the lunch rush on weekends though, but that means its a good place.

Fast friendly waitress. Food was good. Had 2 eggs over, Virginia ham, home fries. Side of toast and coffee. Home fries weren't cooked enough (barely browned) and very little else. No onion and a few peices of celery. Otherwise everything was good!!

The food was ok but the waitress was below average. It was not that busy so she should have been more attentive.

This restaurant has extraordinary service as well as delicious meals. One of my favourite spots in the city. The food arrived rapidly and the rates are economical. I recommend this place.

we go there very often Always seated fast. Waiter always polite. Food is average but good .Just wish they had a smaller hamburger although it's very good I can never eat the whole thing. It would be nice to have two sizes its one of the better Jersey dinners.

The staff and food here is fantastic, making it a staple. The go to place for your night time cravings or your special dinner date with that special someone. The food here is consistently good, you can definitely count on Nutley diner to make your day (or night) one to remember.

I had breakfast there this morning, the waitress was not nice. The French toast are very thin small I could have made them better, the maple syrup served in this dinner is not good plus it does not come in the sealed small containers. This is my second experience having breakfast there I’ve had better. I ordered lunch the other day I asked for well done cheeseburgers I got them pink. I called the dinner to let them know and the manager very graciously offered to replaced them which I accepted but the replacement hamburgers were very thin and dry. I usually go to the Lyndhurst dinner in my opinion they have amazing French toast, great breakfasts and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately due to the pandemic is closed.

Good Food, Excellent Service! There was no wait and our server, Kerry, was patient, polite and efficient. The food came out quickly and was spot on, the soup was hot, the salad crisp and fresh. Kerry was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. A very pleasant lunch experience!

My favorite place for lunch. The service is always great. Only one thing should be address the hostess. When you walk in as a family thats not what Nutley Dinner should represent. Belly shirt half leather pants 😖. Otherwise 1,000 percent hands down our favorite place to eat in town ❤

I go for the Spanish omelette. Wonderfully flavorful creole sauce. Ask for Mary, she'll take good care of you.

I hate to give it this rating. I usually come here later on the weekdays but today I came on the weekend, and man I wish I hadn’t. Usually the service is pretty good for a diner and the food is always great. But today, I was truly disappointed. Food was so oily, it was a soup. Service seemed, in lack of better words, drunk. The management on Saturday nights is the problem. There’s a clear lack of control and her fix to every problem is to comp meals as opposed to addressing the real issues. Anyways, go on weeknights! Service is on top of everything. Weekends are clearly for the kids.

This was my first time there and I hope to return. The diner came with soup or salad. I had soup, Cream of Turkey, reccomend by our server and my friend had saladI had a special chicken dish.Chicken breast rolled and stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella cheese over linguine. Sauce was light and then topped with mushrooms. Delicious. My friend had chicken francaise over rice, looked good too.We each ate half and took the rest home.

Their appetizers and drinks are great. Although for some reason my wings were nowhere near as good as the tenders. Burgers are above average and pass the test for still juicy when well done, which is fantastic.

Always a great place to eat. I had their delicious goat cheese, apples, walnuts, and romain lettuce salad. The waitresses was awesome and I had their crab cakes appetizers. Very good portion size and tasty.

The Chicken a la Nutley was delicious, the portions were huge, and everything came out of the kitchen super fast. That place was hopping on a Saturday night!

Busy diner and very spacious. The staff is very attentive, I was sitting near the window and sun was beaming on me, a staff member who was not our waitress came and asked if I wanted to shade down. The smoothies were good, especially the strawberry banana (without yogurt). Affordable items, numerous options for all types of diets, spirits available and easy parking.

This is by far one of my fav diners in the area. Their baja Turkey burger is my go to, but everything there is good!! The service is fast and friendly, and my friends and I have never had a single complaint, ever!! We will be long time customers for sure :)

Great burgers and the best waffle fries.

Try Monday Steak night. So much food for $20. Soup or salad, small app, steak ( one of 10 styles) potato, vegetable, bread, dessert. Can't go wrong.

Everything we ordered was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the food came out very fast. Tons of municipal parking in the back.

Diners are an NJ thing and normally I wouldn't review a diner as they are all the same either good or terrible. But nutley diner deserves a 5 star review based on their social distance set up alone. I am quite the foodie and I have barley gone out to eat since covid started (third time actually!) And I was very impressed with how the diner set up their tables and kept great practice in mind. I was truly impressed. The food was good and the wait staff excellent especially under these conditions

The atmosphere is classic and warming, especially with the holiday decorations. I ordered some coffee and a french dip, both were great tasting. The staff here was great as well, super friendly and good sense of humor.

Fresh fruits! Delicious smoothies! I’m so happy to share that I had a good experience ordering from them. I ordered fruits at 8 at night using Ubereats and it was delivered fresh. At first I was scared to order from them after reading some of the reviews on here. One woman accused the manager of being rude to her mother and another woman said they were racist and etc. So I took a huge risk and still ordered from them even after reading some of these reviews. But I am so relieved that I had a good experience. Just the fact that the fruits arrived fresh even at 8 at night shows how great this place is. Next time I’ll try to visit and order in person.

I typically don't give reviews, but wow this place really deserves one. The food was fresh, service was amazing, and the staff was friendly. It may be a bit pricey, but trust me it's worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

I really don't have any complaints, or outstanding praises for this diner. The food and service are both standard for what you would find at any NJ diner. I believe I ordered a veggie wrap, and it was good value for the price. Loads of veggies and cheese wrapped and pressed on a hot griddle. Like any NJ diner it's got breakfast lunch and dinner options, can handle large parties of customers, and there seemed to be ample parking. Prices are about on par with other diners. Our food was delivered quickly, and hot. Coffee was refilled at regular intervals. I would eat here again if in the area.

My impression American diner is oily and salty. But this one is…exactly opposite. Pretty healthy and tasty. Just one thing, they’re over pale…ordered twice and felt the chief forgot to put salt for both time. Durable packaging and premium quality

I always stop by buying some food in this spot. I love the prompt service and well cooked dishes. Never disappointing.
